Kenya’s Hip Hop mogul Octopizzo seems to be on a legacy run at this point of his career following revelations the Kibra golden child is recruiting the next generation of leaders, in what will see him plus the Octopizzo Foundation be part of a mentorship program involving young university students across the republic.
Making the announcement after gracing the Kenyatta University Student Awards at the school’s Amphitheater on Thursday night, Octo revealed he was looking forward to the new initiative which will see him connect in a special way with young leaders across Kenya.
In November, the 2021 Grammy considered rapper released his Fuego album – a masterpiece that elevated the Kenyan Hip Hop scene not only in the region but also across the continent and has solidified his position as one of the greatest Kenyan lyricists to ever grace the mic.
