Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui says United Democratic Alliance (UDA) running mate has turned out to be a great asset to the Azimio Coalition and that the Mathira MP will marshall more votes to the Azimio formation than any other politician.
In a social media post on Monday, Governor Kinyanjui who is supporting Raila Odinga’s State House bid describes Rigathi Gachagua as creative and bold in his campaigns that have benefitted the Azimio side, labeling it the ‘Rigathe effect.’

”God works in mysterious ways, so they say. In the political context, never has it been demonstrated better than in recent weeks. The choice of Rigathi Gachagua by the yellow team was God-sent. He has turned out to be the single most important asset to the rival team,” Governor Kinyanjui wrote.
”His creative and bold approach to campaigning for his opponent is very ingenious. This has come to be known as the ‘Rigathe effect’ when the choice of your opponent becomes exceedingly beneficial to your campaign. There is no doubt he will marshall more votes for baba than any other single politician,” he added, while affirming this year’s election was already won or lost at the running mate level.
