Azimo-One Kenya principal Kalonzo Musyoka says President William Ruto’s inaugural address at the 13th Parliament on Thursday failed to touch on critical areas as well as pertinent issues facing Kenyans.

Speaking in Nairobi at his party headquarters in Karen, the Wiper boss also said the current administration propelled itself to power by exploiting the sorry state of the country’s economy to promise a hustler’s paradise and it was upon every Kenyan to remind the regime of its pledges.

”President Ruto’s inaugural address at the 13th Parliament failed to address pertinent issues regarding the state of our economy and the national standard of living. The season for political campaigns has ended and the honeymoon is well and truly over. It is now time to act decisively in our various capacities to the benefit of our great people and our great nation,” Mr. Musyoka said.

”The Ruto administration has promised itself into power by exploiting the sorry economic hardships facing our people with the use of the hustler narrative that has assured us of paradise. t is now our duty to remind this administration of their campaign promises. Actions speak louder than words as they say. It can never be promises after promises after promises,” he added.

The Wiper boss was flanked by Azimio-One Kenya Coalition Majority leader Opiyo Wandayi, nominated MP John Mbadi, and Woman Rep Esther Passaris among other legislators.
