Kalonzo: OKA in consultations with Uhuru and Raila

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, also one of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals says the alliance is currently in talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio Movement leader Raila Odinga on how to form a super-alliance that will see the two groups working together in the August polls.

Speaking in Kisii yesterday, the former vice president said his fellow principals Gideon Moi (KANU), Martha Karua (Narc-Kenya), and Cyrus Jirongo (UDF) are also slated to be part of the negotiations, which will see them rally behind Hon Raila Odinga.

”The time to win the presidency in the first round is in the making. We are in talks to make this a reality. We are in talks with like-minded leaders. We are focused on uniting the country and improving the lives of Kenyans.This time we will win first round and that is why we are talking,” Mr. Musyoka said.

He added; “Tuko tayari kufanya mazungumzo na wenzetu wenye roho safi, wasio wafisadi. Wafisadi ndio wamesababisha kutokuwa na ajira.”

Kalonzo took One Kenya Alliance campaigns to Kisii County to drum up support for his team ahead of the August 9, elections.
