Kenya Kwanza partners in the Mt Kenya region have differed with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) accusing the party and its leadership of consistently undermining small parties from the Mt Kenya region. At the center of the fall-out is Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua, also the Kenya Kwanza running mate who has been accused of using an iron fist to fight Tujibebe, CCK, and TSP parties.

Speaking on Thursday in Kiambu, former Kiambu governor William Kabogo said Gachagua is not cut to be the country’s deputy president and that since his picking as Ruto’s deputy, things started going south for Kenya Kwanza in the Mt Kenya region.

Hours after the remarks, Tujibebe and CCK parties pulled out of all Kenya Kwanza rallies in Kiambu and wrote a letter to the UDA presidential candidate demanding a meeting to address their concerns.
