Jubilee Party nominated senator Ngugi Isaac has sparked controversy online by firing salvos at Deputy President William Ruto and his allies in UDA after a series of attacks towards president Uhuru Kenyatta over the weekend.

Speaking in Ol Kalau, Nyandarua county, at an Azimio la Umoja meeting also attended by Hon Raila Odinga and a host of Mt Kenya leaders, the nominated senator warned UDA against abusing the Head of State and that if they continue, there are many questions leaders backing Uhuru will have to ask DP Ruto going forward.

Ngugi, who hails from Nyandarua was nominated to the Senate last year in September after a favorite candidate for the Ogiek community Peter Cheruiyot was locked out by IEBC due to old age. He replaced the late Victor Prengei in the senate.

The late Prengei died after he was involved in a road accident in August. He was representing Jubilee youth.
