Jalang’o bags 300K from State House for 30-second emceeing

Radio top host Phelix Odiwuor popularly known as Mzee Jalango was paid Ksh 300, 000 for holding the mic for 30 seconds, during this year’s Madaraka Day celebrations in Kisumu.

We can authoritatively reveal.

The popular comedian was among this year’s hosts of the celebrations which were held on Sunday at the Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium.

Others were State House MC Tim Wanjohi, Big Ted, Radio Ramogi’s Adori Okumu.

This year’s Madaraka Day celebrations has been hailed by a number of Kenyans as being one of its kind.

With many agreeing Kisumu and her people outdid themselves by setting the bar high for the next national holiday celebrations.
