Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has sensationally claimed the government is planning to use police machinery to cause chaos on Thursday, during the London Ward by-election.

In a statement to newsrooms, Senator Kihika said the elaborate scheme is codenamed Operation Nakuru West and headed by Kaptembwa OCPD Samson Gathuku.

”Kaptembwa OCP Samson Gathuku has been directed to threaten, blockade and curtail the movement of UDA supporters on voting day. The dastardly, undemocratic and one party era scheme is to have marauding gangs cause maymen in UDA strongholds in the ward,” Senator Kihika’s statement read in part.

The Nakuru Senator who is also a staunch DP Ruto supporter alleged Mr Githuku has been ordered by influential individuals within the Jubilee Party, to ensure the government (read Jubilee Party candidate) wins in the Thursday minipolls, by any means.

Kihika has warned plotters of the scheme that their supporters in UDA will turn out in large numbers to vote and intimidation from the state will not change their resolve of supporting the UDA candidate.
