President Uhuru Kenyatta seems to have had enough of his deputy’s bickering and endless provocation to war by William Ruto, also the Kenya Kwanza torchbearer.

Speaking on Saturday the president took on DP Ruto over his obsession with promises yet he had a whole eight years to execute a number of development pledges he currently proclaims in campaign rallies.

”Nasikitika nikiona wengine huko ng’we ng’we ng’we.

Hao walikua miaka nane walifanya nini? Wakiona mtu na shida wanasema watatatua. Kwa nini hamkutatua mkiwa ofisi?” President Uhuru posed.

The Head of State who was speaking after presiding over International Co-operative Day christened “Ushirika Day” in Kenya at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) also said he had not coerced any Kenyan to back a particular candidate as peddled by his opponents and that what he has called on the voter to do is think before electing anyone to office.

“Lakini vile nimesema ni shauri yenu. Sijalazimisha mtu kitu nimesema mfikirie. Think, think, think.”
