The Cabinet Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the Ministry of Lands and Public Works Kimani Ngunjiri this morning stormed a private property in Endao, Nakuru county accompanied by goons and destroyed the perimeter wall of the enclosed land.

According to reports, the Lands and Public Works CAS started shooting indiscriminately after locals joined the farm owner to protest his attempts to grab the property, leading to the shooting at the land owner.

The CAS reportedly stormed a farm owned by Susan Murugi with a tractor and destroyed a fence to adjacent land.

”I raised an alarm attracting the attention of other residents who came to find out but unfortunately, the CAS started shooting,” said Ms. Murugi.

Rift Valley head of DCI Francis Wanjau confirmed they confiscated a Ceska pistol from Ngunjiri following the morning drama.

He said preliminary findings had shown the incident happened after a group stormed a disputed farm with some driving a tractor and destroyed a fence belonging to a lady.

The former Bahati MP has in the past been accused of trying to grab the farm.
