Muranga Women Rep Betty Maina says nominated MP Sabina Chege has disrespected former President Uhuru Kenyatta with her attempts to take over the Jubilee Party.
Speaking at Kenol, in Muranga County on Tuesday, Betty Maina, a UDA lawmaker also cautioned EALA MP Kanini Kega from badmouthing the former Head of State.
Both Kanini Kega and Sabina Chege have joined forces with DP Rigathi Gachgaua to wrestle Jubilee Party from Uhuru Kenyatta.
The Muranga Women Rep noted it was President Kenyatta who lobbied for Sabina Chege to sit in the powerful Public Health Committee as its Chairperson, a position she used to influence KEMSA tenders to her favor.
Ms. Maina now questions why it is only Mt Kenya leaders fighting among themselves and disrespecting their leaders, at a time when President William Ruto is mending fences with his political rivals in the Rift Valley, including the Moi family.
