ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka have lashed out at President Uhuru Kenyatta over his plans to forge a coalition with Raila Odinga for 2022.The two leaders, rattled by the announcement by allies of the Head of State and the ODM leader, say an Uhuru-Raila union is doomed and cannot stand in 2022.

Speaking to a local media on Sunday evening, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi said the plans were dead on arrival and wished both leaders (Uhuru and Raila) well in their new endeavor. On his part, Wiper leader boss Kalonzo Musyoka said it was impossible to work with Raila Odinga again and the only cooperation agreement he knows is one Jubilee Coalition has with his Wiper Party.

”We have a cooperation agreement between the Jubilee Party leader who is Uhuru Kenyatta and I am the Wiper party leader. I cannot go back to working with Raila,” the Wiper leader said in Muranga on Sunday.

According to Dan Maanzo, a key ally of the former Vice President, President Uhuru and Raila Odinga’s plans to merge their respective parties amounts to political siucide. He describe Jubilee Coalition as being on its deathbed, only comparable to PNU and NARC.

“I dismiss it as illegal. Those four parties ODM, Wiper, Jubilee and Ford Kenya cannot form a coalition but cooperation. Jubilee has joined the league of Narc and PNU and ODM will not gain anything from such coalition,” the Makueni MP said.
