Makadara MP George Aladwa is telling Nairobi Senator Johson Sakaja to stop masquerading as a Luhya in his campaigns of drumming up support for Musalia Mudavadi. Speaking on Sunday at the PAG Church Karen in Langata constituency, the former Nairobi Mayor also asked ANC leader to back ODM leader Raila Odinga’s 2022 presidential bid.
”Stop masquerading as a Luhya and claiming to support Mudavadi for President. You are called Koskei, a Saboti from Mt Elgon. We are the real Luhya voters in Nairobi,” Aladwa said.
Sakaja, a first-time Nairobi senator after serving as nominated TNA MP between 2013 and 2017 has been at the forefront of campaigning for ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi. A copy of the Senator’s National ID seen by this publication, indicates Sakaja was born Johson Koskei Sakaja, on 2nd February 1985.
Meanwhile, ANC boss Musalia has termed claims by some UDA leaders that Huduma Namba will be used next year to vote, as propaganda and lies by politicians who want to suppress voter turn-out in the region next year.
“I have done several tours in different parts of the country and people are starting to buy the lies, it is the high time for Kenyans of good will, the church, media and Non-Governmental Organizations to undo the damage,” he said, Huduma Namba will not be used to vote.”
He spoke on Sunday at the St Cecilia Catholic Church in Milangine area of Nyandarua County Sunday where he was accompanied by State House Controller Kinuthia Mbugua and Governor Francis Kimemia, Musalia.
“Parliament has not changed Election Laws which clearly states that voter registration is done by the IEBC and not any other body,” said the presidential aspirant.
