President Uhuru Kenyatta this morning chaired the first Azimio Council meeting at the KICC in Nairobi, attended by all the twelve members of the council.
The meeting which kicked off minutes to 9 am resolved among other issues to form the Azimio Coalition national disciplinary committee, a coalition election board, and an appeal board that will streamline issues before, during, and after the election.
On the issue of the coalition’s running mate, the council has appointed an advisory panel tasked with finding the most appropriate member of the council suitable for nomination for the deputy president position. We had earlier reported on the membership of the panel.
