Wanyonyi reveals how he ended up in a wheelchair

Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi has disclosed his life took an unexpected turn in 1998 when carjackers in Ngara shot him while on his way from work, an incident that left him confined to a wheelchair to date.

”My ending up in this wheelchair was about crime. I was shot by carjackers in Ngara, 1998. Very quickly my life transformed from a young vibrant lawyer to being in a wheelchair,” the Westlands MP said.
