Something Big Cooking, Governor Joho’s message after meeting Raila

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho on Monday held a closed-door meeting with his party (ODM) leader Raila Odinga after the former prime minister held an extensive tour of Nakuru county over the weekend.

Joho, also a Deputy ODM leader has been in the city mobilizing residents in different parts of Nairobi to come out in large numbers to register as voters.

Speaking in Nairobi’s Kiamaiko area on Saturday, October 9, Joho asked residents to register as voters ahead of the August 2022 elections.

Kura Yako, Nguvu Yako. Today we took the 001 voter registration sensitisation exercise to Kiamaiko in Nairobi County, where I also conveyed a similar message and heartfelt greetings from my party leader Baba Raila Amolo Odinga,” Joho said.

The Mombasa governor, together with his Kakamega counterpart had declared their intention to run for the country’s top seat in 2022 via the ODM ticket but have since withdrawn from the race to throw weight behind Raila Odinga.
