Rogue Ruto Government Must End Abductions or Kenyans Will Have no Choice but to Abduct the Regime and Throw it in the Garbage

Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah has filed a court application seeking orders compelling the Inspector General of Police, the DCI, and the DPP to produce, alive or dead all the abductees they have grabbed in the country.

On December 30, 2024, Justice Bahati Mwamuye directed Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja to personally produce six individuals abducted by unidentified individuals linked to security agencies in court Tuesday.

This follows a petition filed by various bodies and individuals, including the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), Rony Kiplangat, Steve Kavingo, the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR), and the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ).

Kanja is required to present Peter Muteti, Bernard Kavuli, Billy Mwangi, Gideon Kibet, Rony Kiplangat, and Steve Kavingo, all known critics of President William Ruto’s administration.

Justice Mwamuye noted circumstances surrounding abductions of the said individuals have raised serious human rights concerns.

Justice Mwamuye granted a mandatory order of Habeas Corpus, demanding that the Inspector General of Police, along with other state bodies such as the National Police Service (NPS), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), and the National Intelligence Service (NIS), ensure the immediate release of the six individuals.

Additionally, Mwamuye barred their arraignment in any other court.

The ruling comes amid protests by rights groups over the continuing abductions.Meanwhile, pressure continues to mount on the government to address the abductions, which have been blamed on security operatives.

It is now obvious that everybody is getting pissed with William Ruto’s endless kidnappings and abuse of human rights in the country.

Maraga condemns ‘heartless’ abductions, urges a ‘moral response’

Maraga called on the State to uphold the sanctity of life and the dignity of every citizen.

Maraga called on the State to uphold the sanctity of life and the dignity of every citizen.

“This year has not been easy for many families. The killing, maiming, and abduction of young Kenyans have put our institutions to a serious test. It demands a moral response,” Maraga said in an end-year statement.

“If we are truly a people sworn to the sanctity of life and the dignity of every citizen, then we must stand boldly in the truth of our Constitution.”

Maraga’s message highlights the challenges faced by the country in 2024, with a sharp focus on human rights abuses, economic mismanagement, and the erosion of basic public services.

”Heartless politics’’

He called for the immediate release of youths held unlawfully and condemned the “heartless and uncaring” political landscape that he believes has fueled much of the violence.

The former Chief Justice urged the nation to reaffirm its commitment to the document, which he described as the foundation for a just and equitable society.

This is a total war on Kenyans by President William Ruto and if the young Kenyans protesting and being gassed with chemical weapons by the president take it that way and respond in kind we have a civil war and it is the end of Kenya as we know it.

Kenyan politicians cannot just sit back and see the country go up in smoke with chemical weapons. Do something and tell William Ruto if he does not deal with the situation everybody is joining the Gen Z in the streets and the whole country can eat the orange gas.

There is a real revolution happening in our country as we speak. It can be dealt with in a peaceful and productive way for the benefit of the whole country or it can be turned into a complete war in the country if the selfish Ruto regime thinks it is safe for him and his government to kill Kenyans whichever way he wants. Those Kenyans being killed are going to be forced to take arms in response and that is the end of the country.

It can be solved now and it starts with the opposition politicians stopping to sit in their comfortable homes hoping nothing happens and it is back to life as usual and they can gamble for something in the next election.

The opposition has to force William Ruto to take positive and binding resolutions now to deal with the issues on the table that Gen Z has put there or else even for them.

This is no joking time for the country all Kenyans love so much. It has to be saved from William Ruto and that has to be done now. Kenyans will not let William Ruto smoke their country out. Of that even William Ruto knows and Kenyans can see this by his actions.

Fears after gov't unleashes suspicious pink gas on Kenyan protesters

A pink-ish substance released by the police to disperse demonstrators in the streets of Nairobi has raised concern with many appearing to suggest that the substance maybe a harmful chemical already banned from warfare.

Kenyans have to call on the international community to completely condemn the Ruto government for unleashing chemical weapons banned all over the world on Kenyans.

The ICC has to be called in to deal with the crimes against humanity that President William Ruto is committing in Kenya now. And Ruto can no longer be the president of Kenya under any circumstances after the chemical weapon attacks on Kenyans.

Kenyan journalist Wanjeri Kariuki shot while covering protests in Nakuru

K24 journalist Wanjeri Kariuki is carried away by colleagues after sustaining a gunshot wound while covering anti-government protests in Nakuru on July 16, 2024

K24 journalist Wanjeri Kariuki on Tuesday sustained a gunshot wound while covering the ongoing anti-government protests in Nakuru.

Ms. Kariuki was shot while standing outside a local bank’s premises, with the bullet hitting her on the thigh.

The journalist was rushed to the Valley Hospital by fellow media practitioners where she is presently receiving treatment.

Journalists present at the scene said the police shot thrice at Wanjeri as she scampered for safety when they lobbed teargas canisters at peaceful protestors.

Wanjeri who was shot three times in the left thigh, was rushed to the hospital by a Good Samaritan.

That was William Ruto terrorist regime in the first year from August 2022 to 20023.

What happened after that?

It was all summarized, sadly enough, at the glorious funeral of the mother of the present Speaker of Kenya National Assembly, Moses Wetangula, some very bad politics took centre stage.

President William Ruto Friday arrived in Bungoma County for the burial of the mother of National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula and Westlands MP Timothy Wanyonyi.

They were not coming for political battle in the country.

But Permanent COTU rep in Kenya, Francis Atwoli, launched the war at the funeral. And as we know wars tend to go on.

Some people abduct themseves to get money – Atwoli

“Some people are abducting themselves so that they can get money from some organizations.”

Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli has sensationally claimed that some people in the country “abduct themselves”  to get funding from organisations.

Speaking during the burial of National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, Atwoli said he is privy to such cases owing to his vast networks that transcend the borders.

“On abductions, I work with many organizations across the world, some people are abducting themselves so that they can get money from some organizations,” he said.

Atwoli added that parents must teach their children to be respectful people, who should not use social media in a bad way.

“Your right is not key to tamper with the rights of others. We must respect the office of the President,” he said.

Atwoli was speaking on Friday at a highly charged burial service of the mother of the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula and Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi.

President William Ruto, Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi, Several MPs, Governors, CS and other government officials were present.

Speaker after speaker weighed in on the abduction fiasco even as Ruto’s allies moved to defend the government against the backlash.

Speaker of the Senate Amason Kingi called on Kenyans to criticise the government objectively even as he warned against getting personal.

He said the country has a law governing the code of conduct in various sectors, including social media, saying those violating the law should be dealt with in accordance with the law.

“You can criticize the policies of the government but you cannot get personal,” Kiingi said even as he asked government agencies to act on those violating the law.

However, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya disagreed with Atwoli on abductions.

“I say this with a very heavy heart. For a leader to stand here and say people are abducting and killing themselves, is unfortunate. It is not for this hallowed grounds,” he added.

“Our children are getting lost and killed; that is the position.”

The remarks on abductions come at a time when Kenyans are demanding answers on the whereabouts of several Kenyans who were picked up by unknown men at different parts of the country.

The whereabouts of the men remain unknown.

On Monday, a section of Kenyans staged a protest to demand the release of the group but none of them has been let go.

And then we have the other idiot Kimani Ichung’wah

Ichung’wah claims ‘staged abductees’ enjoying in Airbnbs to frame govt

The Kikuyu Member of Parliament accused former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of orchestrating the scheme to tarnish the government’s reputation and incite a coup similar to that of June 25, 2024, when protestors invaded Parliament.

NAIROBI, Kenya Dec 31 – National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah has sensationally claimed that the alleged nationwide abductees are at Airbnbs, enjoying themselves in an attempt to create the impression that the state is behind the abductions.

Ichung’wah further alleged that the abductions were part of a well-coordinated scheme by President William Ruto’s critics to tarnish the reputation of his administration.

“They are now locking themselves at Airbnbs with their girlfriends for three days to tarnish the government’s image,” he said.

The alleged state-sanctioned abductions aimed at silencing dissent continue to stir public outrage, despite President Ruto’s promise to end them.

The Kikuyu Member of Parliament accused former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of orchestrating the scheme to tarnish the government’s reputation and incite a coup similar to that of June 25, 2024, when protestors invaded Parliament.

He claimed that a group of Nyeri leaders had plotted to stage their own abductions, but the plan was thwarted.

“Any leader who thinks can incite Kenyans will not succeed,” he said.

Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja on December 26, 2024, denied police involvement in the abductions.

However, just a day later, in what appeared to be an acknowledgment of his administration’s role, President Ruto pledged to end the abductions and restore public trust in national security.

Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah on Monday led a group of Kenyans in Nairobi, staging street protests demanding the release of six individuals critical of the regime who had been allegedly abducted.

Inspector General of Police Kanja was on Tuesday expected to produce six abductees in court following a Monday High Court ruling rendered by Justice Bahati Mwamuye.

The six are Peter Muteti, Bernard Kavuli, Billy Mwangi, Gideon Kibet, Rony Kiplangat, and Steve Kavingo, all known critics of President Ruto’s administration.

President Ruto admits police abuses at protests

Anti-riot police attempt to break up and arrest protesters braced on the ground in a standoff during protests to demand the release of those allegedly abducted by state security agencies in Nairobi on Dec. 30, 2024.

There are abductions

President William Ruto acknowledged abuses by Kenya’s security forces, in the wake of demonstrations against a recent wave of alleged kidnappings that have sparked outrage in the country.

“It cannot be denied that there have been instances of excessive and extrajudicial actions by members of the security services,” Ruto said in his New Year’s address, without specifying what those actions may have been.

I Told You the Truth! Natembeya Hits Back at Critics

Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has hit back at his critics who castigated him during the burial of National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula’s mother saying he “told them the truth”.

The Governor, who became a subject of attack by many leaders after addressing the funeral, condemned the attacks he received at the burial that have since become the subject of discussion in the country.

“I was the subject of severe verbal attacks by some political leaders through the litany of insults and profanity towards my persona,” Natembeya said.

In his address, Natembeya disagreed with some leaders present over abductions, a move that set the stage for a fierce response from National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah.

It all began when Cotu boss Francis Atwoli said some Kenyans were abducting themselves to get funding from some civil society organizations.

“On abductions, I work with many organizations across the world, some people are abducting themselves so that they can get money from some organizations,” Atwoli said.

In a rejoinder, Natembeya termed the remarks by Atwoli as unfortunate insisting that those abducted must be set free to give their families peace of mind.

“I say this with a very heavy heart. For a leader to stand here and say people are abducting and killing themselves, is unfortunate. It is not for this hallowed grounds,” he said.

The remarks seemingly angered Ichung’wah who hit back at Natembeya.

“You are an officer; if you know people are being abducted, share the information with the police but do not come here to shout at Atwoli (COTU boss),” he stated.

Ichung’wah further noted that Natembeya was a regional commissioner in the last administration, which was also accused of alleged abductions and extra-judicial killings.

Natembeya responding on when he was a  regional commissioner said,”

“…Let it be known that George Natembeya served as a diligent, honest, and truthful servant to the people of Kenya. A position I earned through merit and hard work. I resigned as The Regional Commissioner without any stain or scandal,” he said.

“My commitment as a Regional Commissioner endeared me to the esteemed people of Trans Nzoia, who nurtured me to be their second governor. I want my fellow Kenyans to know that the reason some political leaders saw it worth insulting me was because I boldly told the President to order the end of abductions and command the release of the abducted youths.”

Natembeya went on to say the families of these abducted youths are undergoing untold trauma, “not knowing the whereabouts of their children.”

He went on to clarify that condemning extrajudicial abductions does not amount to undermining the President.

“We all have a duty to remind state organs to adhere to the rule of law and our constitution’s principles. I will continue speaking boldly, without fear. Kenyans want an end to extrajudicial abductions of our young people. Abductions must decisively and courageously be condemned. Kenyans are looking up to leaders to speak for them,” he said.

Activist Ibrahim Hilal Mwiti

The body of a 24-year-old activist who went missing in November 2024 was found at Thika Level Five Hospital mortuary.

So how did Ibrahim Hilal Mwiti abduct himself. Put himself on the road. Then go back and drive a car to kill himself. Even stupidity and lies must have limits for the William Ruto Government.

Rest in Peace for the country Hilal Mwiti.
