Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua says the people of Mt. Kenya have had a long-standing dislike for the Odinga family and that attempts by President Uhuru Kenyatta to make Raila accepted in the mountain will yield no fruits.
”We have always rejected him. During the days of Kenyatta, we rejected his father (Jaramogi). We have always known he is a problem and we warned the president not to work with him. The president refused to listen. So he allowed him into our house. He has brought us bad omen in government,” the MP said in Karen at a meeting where the DP was meeting a delegation of leaders from Kitui county.
