Is Norman Magaya the proposed Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed One Kenya Alliance (OKA), comprising Amani National Congress (ANC), Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM), Ford-Kenya, and KANU? Magaya, a decorated law scholar and political strategist was CEO of NASA from 2016 until when he collapsed at the Bomas of Kenya in August 2017 during the tabulation of the presidential votes.

Almost two years later in September 2019, Mr. Magaya was admitted to Nairobi Hospital before being flown to India for specialised medical treatment after a heart attack. That would be the last time Magaya was ever seen in public, until today, when he joined Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka at a press conference where the Wiper leader announced their exit from NASA Coalition.

Confirming Magaya’s presence, Kalonzo Musyoka revealed the former NASA Ceo will be closely working with him as the party leader and had joined the Wiper outfit.

”Norman is a very famous name. He said before they wind up NASA, they might wind him up as well. Norman thank you so much for joining Wiper. He is going to work very closely with the party leader going forward,” Kalonzo said on Monday.

Meanwhile, yesterday’s divorce from NASA, Kalonzo says is not meant to isolate ODM, considering both parties are working very closely with the Jubilee regime and has welcomed the Raila-led party to join OKA.

“Wiper party is still in cooperation with the Jubilee party…It should not be a surprise in future to see One Kenya Alliance working with the Jubilee party. We, therefore, welcome our ODM brothers to OKA. We are not killing Nasa and ODM at the same time,” Kalonzo said.
