Senator Mutula Kilonzo says President Uhuru Kenyatta may have been sabotaged by people inside his own bedroom, intentionally bent on ensuring he fails.
The Makueni senator’s remarks follow a string of political and legal losses by the Head of State who is increasingly cutting a figure of a brute and a constitutional delinquent.
”One cannot be faulted for thinking some people in the president’s circle are not sabotaging him knowingly or unknowingly. From BBI, to by-elections, it seems the government is fighting the people, it’s partners and itself, a very untidy situation bearing in mind we are a year to the next elections. An overhaul is due. Managing the president is a national duty. Anyone who cannot see this should be given a desk to push paper,” the Wiper Democratic Movement senator said.
Among those fingered on this new wave of criticism are State House operative Nancy Gitau, Raphael Tuju, David Murathe and Njee Muturi. Even though it was the events in Bonchari and Juja that badly exposed the Head of State, previous decsions point to an individual who may have been intentionally led into errors.
