Eunice Wanjiku a resident of Gatundu, and her daughter have received two Friesian cows from President Uhuru Kenyatta, just a week after she abruptly bumped into the head of state who was inspecting the Gekoe Water Project in Gatundu North.
The Cows were delivered by Kiambu County Commissioner Wilson Wanyaga.
Two weeks ago, the granny unexpectedly met President Uhuru Kenyatta, and she is quoted by a local media station as having been shell-shocked and unable to express herself in presence of Uhuru, and requested the head state in her interview, to buy her a cow.
“At first I was scared to approach him as he had been surrounded by bodyguards. He, however, instructed us not to leave until we shared a conversation. When he finished touring the site, I went to him and shared my family’s plight,” Wanjiku told Inooro TV.
