Leaders from the North-Eastern counties of Wajir, Garissa, Isiolo, Mandera, and Marsabit are expected to throw their weight behind ODM leader Raila Odinga’s 2022 presidential bid.
This will be the first time the leaders from the region close ranks to endorse a single presidential candidate, especially after the truce between President Uhuru and the former prime minister.
The North Eastern endorsement follows a similar endorsement by leaders and senior government officials from Nyanza, Western, Coast, and South Rift.
