Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina says Jubilee Party will win the Kiambaa constituency by-election, currently underway in Kiambu county. The Kiambaa seat was held by the ruling party and fell vacant following the death of area MP Paul Koinange on March 30th.

The ODM senator’s remarks have drawn different reactions from Kenyans, most of them Jubilee and UDA supporters whose candidates Kariri Njama and John Wanjiku are engaged in a dog’s fight for the seat.

Earlier, Majority Leader in the National Assembly Amos Kimunya got it rough in the morning at the Kimunga polling station where he was almost roughed up by rowdy youth who were demanding he leaves the voting premises.

The Kipipiri MP who has been leading the Jubilee Party’s campaigns in the constituency is said to have been doing a spot-check of this morning’s activities when he was confronted by a group of angry youth who claimed he was at the polling station to try influencing the outcome of the by-election.
