Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama claims the government has heavily invested in rigging Wiper candidate, Agnes Kavindu, to win the upcoming Machakos senatorial by-election.

Speaking to the media on February 16th, the UDA Chair alleged the national government in collaboration with its county administrators have been summoning Machakos residents, and asking them to vote for Kavindu, the Wiper Party candidate.

”They have been using sub-county officers and chiefs to summon mebers of the public to meetings. This has happened in Masinga, Kangundo and other parts of the county,” Muthama said.

Last week Wednesday the former Machakos Senator almost engaged Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka in fist fight following latter’s remarks on the ex-wife Agnes Kavindu.

”I am telling you that next year, you will see Muthama running to perch on my chest, because he knows where we are and where we are going. Even if he gets irritated, I’ll hand over his wife (Kavindu) back to him,” Kalonzo said.
