Museveni Kid Who is the Chief of Ugandan Armed Forces Wants to “Extinguish” Opposition Leader Bobi Wine

As bad as Kenyan politics is sometimes, particularly last year when President William Ruto and his government were killing Gen Z Kenyan activists demanding better economic conditions and avoiding high taxes on basic things Kenyans need to make a living.

Still, when you look at our neighbours, as we see the unfolding events in Uganda and we saw Tanzania just a month ago, people may feel we are in a better country in East Africa than our neighbours.

In Kenya we have to make our country better and that is our job for life to avoid what is happening right in front of our eyes in Tanzania and Uganda.

Alarm raised over Kizza Besigye’s health in detention

The People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) has warned of a serious decline in the health of its leader, Kizza Besigye, who remains in detention. In a statement on X on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the party said Besigye is seriously unwell and accused authorities of downplaying the situation

The People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) has raised urgent alarms over the condition of its leader, Dr Kizza Besigye, saying his health is rapidly worsening while in detention.

In straight honest language, Museveni is already killing opposition leader Kizza Besigye in jail and his death will be announced in a few days and that is the end of him. In Kizza Besigye case, Yoweri Museveni has already “extinguished” him and what remains is the coffin and the grave.

In the Bobi Wine case General Muhoozi Kainerugaba Museveni has called for his public execution and knowing Uganda as we do that is happening in a few days.

“We have killed 22 NUP terrorists since last week. I’m praying the 23rd is Kabobi,” Kainerugaba posted on social media X late Monday night, referring to Wine and his National Unity Platform (NUP) party.

“As for Kabobi, the permanent loser, I’m giving him exactly 48 hours to surrender himself to the Police. If he doesn’t we will treat him as an outlaw/rebel and handle him accordingly,” he added in a separate post on X.

Idi Amin Dada must be very happy in his grave wherever it is to see the Uganda he left for Yoweri Museveni going exactly the way he wanted to take Uganda. How sweet for him. But how about for Ugandans and their country?

As Kenyans, when we look at the neighbouring countries where opposition leaders face a death sentence or jail Kenyans need to be very proud of what they have achieved since 2002 when they took out dictator Moi from control of State House. We are still struggling for real democracy as a country. Still, we are acres of miles ahead of our close friends in East Africa thanks to Kenya’s political activists fighting for their country being tortured, jailed and killed. Still, we never stopped and that is why we are not Uganda or Tanzania today.

There is a reason Kenyans have been paying their respects to the ODM leader, Raila Amolo Odinga, after he passed away just a month ago, because without his work and efforts, which put him in jail and detention for 8 years, Kenya today would be exactly where Uganda is, with state thugs killing opposition leaders for fun to entertain themselves.

Not in Kenya and it is not happening any time soon. That is our country and we are going to make it better.

Raila Odinga made sure something like what is happening in Uganda now was not going to happen to his country and here we are today and our job as a country is to make things better and I am sure Kenyans will do that in 2027.
