Former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga on Monday disclosed he is now supporting President William Ruto’s government.
Njenga, who has been a strong supporter of Azimio and its leader Raila Odinga says the Head of State’s vision of uniting the country won his heart. and has asked Kenyans to give him (Ruto) time to deliver.
”Let us work hard and stop complaining every time. If we elected this government, let us give time to them to see the results,” Njenga said during an interview at Meru FM.
”I did not support this government but now that it was chosen, we can not have people saying it’s not the right way,” Njenga continued.
He also called on politicians who lost in the 2022 general election to accept that Kenya Kwanza was democratically elected and is the administration in power.
Njenga is asking Kenyans to respect elected leaders noting that it was the only way the country would move forward.
