New Tanzanian President Saumu Suluhu Hassan has announced the state funeral for departed John Magufuli will be held on March 25th. Magufuli will be laid to rest at his Chato home in Southern Tanzania. President
Public viewing of the body will be done in the commercial hub of Dar es Salaam, the capital Dodoma, the western town of Mwanza, and in his hometown of Chato.
The late president’s coffin will also be paraded through major roads, the government spokesman said.
Condolence books will be distributed countrywide for the public to pay their respects.
