Former president Mwai Kibaki has not been hospitalised. This is according to the former president’s aide Ngari Gituku. On Thursday, The Star newspaper reported Kibaki was admitted at the Nairobi Hospital after his health had deteriorated.
”The retired President has not been admitted to any hospital. But of course the retired President has been going for routine check-ups,” Ngari said.
According to the Star publication, Kibaki was taken to the facility where he has been undergoing treatment for low blood pressure, for the last two days from Sunday.
This comes after ODM leader Raila Odinga checked into the hospital on Tuesday. There are also other reports showing a high-ranking Somalia government official, his wife, and two other politicians are also admitted to the facility.
