Former President Uhuru Kenyatta is targeted by the government over claims of funding Raila Odinga as well as the nationwide Azimio rallies which kicked off in Nairobi today at the Jacaranda Grounds.
Kenya Kwanza regime now claims the former Head of State, whose businesses have been picked out by the government for not paying taxes, is fighting back against the taxation of Kenyatta Family businesses through Raila Odinga.
Already, NCPBA, associated with the Kenyattas is being forced out of its partnership with M-PESA. The state has also heavily descended on Brookside, among other business entities associated with the former First Family.
On Sunday at Jacaranda grounds, Raila Odinga warned President William Ruto that he should not underestimate him noting the power of the people is mightier than the government’s authority.
“You don’t know us, go and ask Nyayo(late President Moi), you…. the power of the people is the voice of God. We defeated Ruto with over 2 million votes and even if we were to go back to the polls, we shall defeat him again,” Mr. Odinga said.
The ODM boss also announced his next stops across the country as he aggressively campaigns against Ruto’s administration. The Azimio rallies will move to Machakos, Nakuru, Kakamega, Kisii, Kisumu and Mombasa.
