Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka says Kenyans are yet to move on from Raila Odinga’s election loss and that the whole country is still hurting, with many seeking answers why things happened the way they did.
“The whole country is hurting. Watu wana hasira ya kindani na watu wanataka majibu na nina amini Mungu atatupatia majibu wakati wake. Kwa nini Raila asikubaliwe awe rais wa Kenya? Karibu nitoe machozi.” he said.
Speaking in Homabay on Saturday during the burial of Stanley Aluma, the father of Homabay town Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Kaluma, Mr. Musyoka also revealed their Azimio-One Kenya coalition will unveil a shadow cabinet to oversight the Kenya Kwanza administration once Raila Odinga jets back to the country.
”Baba akirudi, we are going to announce our shadow cabinet because we want to hold them to account, complete with our own budget, which will be presented. We have only this country to call home. We have nowhere to go, lazima tuvumiliane,” Kalonzo added.
Leaders present were Governor Gladys Wanga and her Siaya counterpart James Orengo, Senators Oburu Oginga (Siaya), Eddy Okech (Migori), and Moses Kajwang’ (Homabay).
Others were MPS Rosa Buyu (Kisumu West), Lilian Gogo (Rangwe), John Mbadi (nominated), Martin Owino (Ndhiwa), Tom Kajwang (Ruaraka), Adipo Okuome (Karachuonyo Ongondo Were (Kasupil) Peter Masara (Suna West), Millie Odhiambo (Suba North), Felix Oduor (Lang’ata)Antony Oluoch (Mathare).
