Chaos rocked Deputy President’s Karen residence in Nairobi on Monday following an unexpected announcement from Azimio-One Kenya Secretariat that the coalition’s flag bearer Raila Odinga would not be attending tonight’s Presidential debate.
A source who confided to this publication says William Ruto, also the Kenya Kwanza candidate has been rehearsing daily for the ‘big moment’ to face off with Mr. Odinga, since the first running mate’s debate and was thrown off balance after receiving the abrupt news.
Also, the Kenya Kwanza candidate’s main campaign financier wanted Ruto to ruthlessly face off with Odinga since he was not impressed by Rigathi Gachagua’s performance.
”His main financier, a neighboring country’s Head of State was not impressed by Rigathi Gachagua’s performance and demanded that Ruto needs to present a more refined front for their candidature…The team was banned from speaking about it,” the source reveals.

The Kenya Kwanza candidate has been rehearsing without fail from 1 am to 2 am under the stewardship of a renowned city lawyer, Professor Kithure Kindiki, Westlands MP Aspirant Nelson Havi, and former Citizen TV journalist Hussein Mohammed. Also the camp’s Head of Communications.
On Monday, while in Nandi, DP Ruto asked Raila Odinga to reconsider his position and show up for the debate and that he had put enough energy to face off with the Azimio torchbearer today.
”I am asking him to come if not for any other reason it is so that he can tell Kenyans what is Tibim and Tialala,” an angry Ruto said in Nandi.
