Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson Wafula Chebukati has ordered investigations into Gatundu South Moses Kuria’s Tuesday remarks at the Kasarani indoor arena during the UDA party national conference in Nairobi that him, together with notable Mt Kenya leaders helped President Uhuru Kenyatta look for and rig Mt Kenya votes in the last election.
”We are going to investigate and if the wording he said is found to be offensive we shall proceed to summon him. That will be done as soon as possible. We heard what he said but he has his right to defend himself, that is work the investigations team is working on,” Chebukati said in Nairobi.

”We had a case involving Sabina Chege but we were stopped by the High Court from proceeding because she filed a judicial review challenging our jurisdiction,” he added.
Kuria at the Kasarani claimed, together with others who are now allied to DP Ruto’s camp guarded President Kenyatta’s votes and also rigged the election in his favor.
