President William Ruto says Azimio leader Raila Odinga is blackmailing the government with his March 20th protests in the capital city.

The president notes his government will not allow a few individuals who have refused to accept election results to cause chaos among peace-loving Kenyans.

Speaking at State House in Nairobi, the head of state accused Mr. Odinga of holding chaotic demonstrations for the last 50 years and asked the Azimio leader to assure Kenyans the Monday demonstrations will be peaceful this time.

”Enough is enough, you cannot continue to blackmail the country. The government will not allow loss of life, destruction of property, and looting. We will not allow a few individuals who have refused to accept the election results to cause chaos among peace-loving people,” Ruto said.

”Odinga has been holding bloody and chaotic demonstrations for the last 50 years. He needs to assure Kenyans that this will be different. It is his responsibility to sit down with the police and explain to them how the demonstrations will be peaceful,” he added.

On his part, DP Rigathi Gachagua revealed the Kenya Kwanza Administration was putting place an elaborate plan to firmly deal with Raila Odinga and stop him forever.

”Huyo mzee (Raila) ni sisi na yeye. Huyo mzee amesumbua Kenya wakiwa na baba yake for the last 60 years. Wakati wa kumaliza huyo mzee ni wakati huu. Na ataenda akiendanga,” DP Gachagua said.
