President Donald Trump latest runt should scare the hell out of the United States of America. It is clear this is no longer a lose mouth president talking crap to himself that nobody cares about but rather a complete sick person who needs immediate help for himself forget the USA.
In media reports here in Toronto, on Monday, Trump went off on a rant on his Truth Social account about the Gordie Howe International Bridge stretching from Windsor to Detroit that should be open in the coming months.
“As everyone knows, the Country of Canada has treated the United States very unfairly for decades. Now, things are turning around for the U.S.A., and FAST! But imagine, Canada is building a massive bridge between Ontario and Michigan,” Trump posted.
He then made several false claims about how the bridge came to be, who is paying for it, who owns it, and more. He complained about American booze being taken off the shelves in many Canadian liquor stores and about Carney’s recent deal with China.

“Now, on top of everything else, Prime Minister Carney wants to make a deal with China — which will eat Canada alive. We’ll just get the leftovers! I don’t think so. The first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada, and permanently eliminate The Stanley Cup,” Trump said.
Then he stated that the Gordie Howe bridge would not open until he gets what he wants – an ownership stake.
“I will not allow this bridge to open until the United States is fully compensated for everything we have given them, and also, importantly, Canada treats the United States with the Fairness and Respect that we deserve,” Trump wrote. “We will start negotiations, IMMEDIATELY. With all that we have given them, we should own, perhaps, at least one half of this asset. The revenues generated because of the U.S. Market will be astronomical.”
Anybody even a five-year-old kid who knows anything about Canada will tell you hockey is Canada’s middle name. One of my Kenyan friends has had his kids playing amazing hockey and the family told me those kids just want to go to the hockey field after school and it is great for them.
Hockey is Canada and for Donald Trump to claim that China will abolish hockey in Canada and kill the greatest sport event in Canada with teams in the US also involved tells you that man is beyond deranged. His brain and mind lives in hell now and someone needs to rescue that for him.
The whole Trump diatribe started because Canada after trade wars with Trump are build a big bridge from the Windsor City to Michigan to facilitate trade from the Ontario Province to the US and we are talking billion-dollar business per year.
Windsor is a beautiful city in Ontario right at the border with the US state of Detroit and at doorsteps with Michigan City.
Ontario as a province provides vehicles and all sorts of goods for sale in the US and everything goes through Michigan and when Trump came with his trade blocks the Ontario government under Premier Doug Ford who has been pretty tough on Trump tariff threats decided to put up the Gordie Howe International Bridge which is just about to open and President Trump thinks he can put his ICE killer cops there to block it.
In fact, Trump may even be thinking he can just grab the bridge and deport it to Canada and if Canada refuses then Trump will deport the bridge to Rwanda in East Africa. How grand is that Mr. President?
Ontario’s economy has great car manufacturing all over the province and Windsor is the place to export those cars and millions of car parts to the USA and nothing will stop that including Trump’s hallucinations.

One interesting thing about President Trump nonsensical rampage on Canada is that right wing political groups in Canada with their failing Conservative Party hero Mr. Pierre Poilievre is that Trump’s madness about China taking over Canada is the same thinking conservatives talk about here in Canada.
Somehow, they have this mad idea that China will bring communism to Canada and they forget that today China is the most capitalist country in the world.
And more importantly China is coming only second to the USA in terms of the revenue their economy generates.

Simply put it would be foolish for any country to ignore China and refuse to do business with them because of a few maniacs here and there who think China is about to invade Canada or any other country for that matter.
As the US is busy killing the United Nations Organization (UNO) by withholding funding in the tune of billions of dollars from the UNO, China is becoming the only hope for many countries in Africa and the third world where China is involved in everything from infrastructure, hospitals and being practically very helpful in building those economies.
This is China in Africa. Where is the US and Canada?
In fact, one of Trump’s failed ideas was that he was going to put tariffs on countries doing business with China. No country paid any attention to that and Trump just gave up on that one. That is the same thing he is going to do with Gordie Howe International Bridge. Poor boy.
