President Uhuru Kenyatta plans to live the rest of his life, after leaving office in 2022 at his Gicheha farm in Nakuru county.

According to reports, the Head of State is building a multi-million home in the more than 4,000-acre farm currently being used for livestock keeping and is expected to move to the new premises next year.

Unknown to many, President Uhuru Kenyatta is a passionate farmer and away from state responsibilities, the Head of State spends his free time in the expansive farm located along Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.

President Uhuru Kenyatta relocating to Nakuru for his retirement will play a critical role in who becomes Nakuru governor in 2022 and already, there are sharp divisions in the UDA camp over it.

Speaking on Saturday morning from his Bahati home, the area MP Kimani Ngunjuri accused Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika of fighting hard to be the next governor, so as to frustrate President Kenyatta’s family after retirement.

According to Mr. Ngunjiri, the senator has political scores with the Head of State after she was ousted from her position in the Senate.

”They have heard that the president wants to retire in Nakuru. Now some are saying, they will not give the president peace in Nakuru. That is why they are vying. It is not about you. When the president retires and builds his nice home where his father left him, we want him to having tea with the 2022 president in peace,” the MP charged, accusing Senator Kihika of being behind the plot.

However, in her defense, Senator Kihika says the Bahati MP is out to tarnish name using the malicious propaganda. Both Senator Kihika and Kimani Ngunjiri are eyeing the Nakuru gubernatorial position in 2022.

”Even propaganda needs a little intelligence. Silly kindergarten idiotic lies just to get the attention of someone you ran up and down the streets insulting a few months ago is disgusting. King of Stomach politics, who would dare trust this man who blows hot and cold every other day?” the Kihika posed.
