President Ruto Tour of Mt. Kenya has Two Messages

Kindiki is respectful, hardworking and I’m pleased to have him as DP – Ruto

Why is voter registration a big deal now even for William Ruto. Because if you look at those crowds Ruto had all over the places, most of them seem to be young people and chances are they do not have voting cards.

So Kenyans have to deal with the fact that voter registration is not just for the opposition but for the whole country because we need those young Kenyans to vote.

It is their country. That is Kenya for our young population. Let them deal with it. They own the nation being 75% of the population of the republic of Kenya.

My nephews and nieces are there working very hard to make livings as nurses, teachers, pharmacists as my legend nephew at one of the best hospitals in Kenya and everything. Let them do their thing and work hard. We are watching. That is a warning but it is their country now. They have to figure it out.

And then my son every time he comes home he goes to the foreigners line up at JKIA. Then they see his name is Adongo and they ask him why he is in that line up and just clear him. As soon as he meets his grandmother everything is fine. They start jumping around and making food for all of us. They like chicken and fish and then my sisters bring tons of vegetables including Osuga and Mtoo. Just good.

President Ruto also seem to be doing very with his new Deputy, Kithure Kindiki and they are just taking the whole battle to Gachagua’s doorsteps and he is nowhere to be seen, maybe hiding somewhere in Wamunyoro ready to resume his petty politics again.

Speaking in Gatunga, Tharaka Nithi County, Ruto said Kindiki is a focused, respectful and development-minded leader who has played a great role in faster realisation of the government’s agenda.

“I’m grateful you allowed Prof Kindiki to come work with me in serving the nation. He is respectful, hardworking, and orderly,” Ruto said.

“The Deputy President is not a DP of Tharaka Nithi nor Mt Kenya nor some section of this country. He is a Deputy of the whole country, he is assisting me serve all Kenyans,” he said.

Ruto said the DP job is not given to cheap talk and divisive rhetoric but to someone who is unifying and visionary.

He said with Kindiki, his work has become easier even as he steers Kenya to prosperity.

“Our mission is to serve all Kenyans and unite all communities. We are getting rid of tribal animosity and hatred for the good of the nation. With a DP like Prof Kindiki, my work as President has been made easier and delivery of our agenda will be faster,” The President added.

And the journey to nowhere for the opposition goes on. Kalonzo Muysoka wants to build an imaginary opposition coalition where he is the presidential candidate. He has to pass that through Rigathi Gachagua. Talk about a road block. Good Luck and then more.

Never mind that none of these “big” opposition leaders can hold a rally of Kenyans anywhere in the country and William Ruto just walks over them. Are you kidding me. Here we go.

Jubilee asks Kalonzo to back Matiang’i for presidency

Jubilee Party delegates from Kisii and Nyamira Counties want Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka to support former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i in the 2027 General Election.

The delegates who were drawn from all the 12 constituencies of Kisii and Nyamira counties spoke at a hotel in Kisii County where the Party’s Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni presided over an endorsement of Dr Matiang’i as the formation’s presidential candidate.

The delegates expressed the need for the opposition to unite and rally Kenyans to support a candidature of Matiangi.

“Kalonzo has been around for so long and he has been trying to vie for presidency unsuccessfully. What he needs to do now is to hand the baton to fresh blood.”

While addressing the gathering, Kioni insisted on the need for the opposition to have a common voice regarding who to support in the next general elections, but noted that Matiang’i was the best suited to stage the fight.

Bottom line is that IEBC and the Kenyan government has to allow Kenyans to register as voters. Whoever they vote for is their choice.

And Kalonzo was busy as usual doing nothing.

It was a pleasure joining the Umoja Summit Party’s Annual Delegates Convention today and witness its rebrandjng to the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) at the New Diamond Plaza, Highridge, Nairobi.

This is a beautiful name – DNA – and you have joined what will be the winning Coalition. Your Voice; Your Power!
