Mixed reactions after photo of Senator Methu’s trimmed hair and beard surfaces

A social media post by Nyandarua Senator John Muhia Methu that shows the lawmaker spotting shaved hair and beards has ignited mixed reactions among netizens.
A section of netizens had previously voiced their discontent over his untrimmed hair and beards, while others appreciated his distinctive look.
Public opinion on the senator’s appearance grew increasingly vocal, which ultimately influenced his decision to shave his long hair and beards.
“Nyinyi si wazuri, by the way, imebidi,” he said in his social media post on Monday, which was accompanied by a picture apparently showcasing his new look.
The move sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans, with a section applauding his new look while others stated that they preferred his former look and others found it hard to believe.
“Congratulations! Now you look like a senator; please don’t keep those beards again. People were worried,” Stephen Kabuga reacted.
“I will believe it when I see the video,” Karangu Muraya hilariously posted.
“Don’t try to show us TBT; bring evidence,” Ruthie Njoro stated.
Kimata Joseph posted, “Now you are the young, vibrant young leader you have always been mhesh. Congratulations.”
Here is the deal. Rigathi Gachagua is not going to allow the wider opposition to form an alliance until he forms his own party and he is the king.
That will take forever because due to his impeachment he is not allowed to hold any office. He is going to fight that all the way to the Supreme Court in 2027 if need be. Kalonzo is going to have a heart attack waiting for him and so is Martha Karua.
They are going to be forced to walk away from the madman waiting to be cleared. What next?
How about Nyandarua Senator John Muhia as Kalonzo Musyoka’s DP in in 2027. And about Martha and Mataing’i? Don’t ask me. Please.
Kioni: This is what we want pro-Matiang’i political parties to do

Jubilee Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni has announced that a coalition of political parties from the Kisii and Mt Kenya regions supporting former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i will hold weekly meetings.
The former Ndaragwa MP stated that 20 political parties have intensified consultations to consolidate support for Matiang’i ahead of his presidential campaign’s launch.
It is going to be Wamunyoro Gachagua Clan Party and everybody is going to run away from it.
Morara hints at dumping Gachagua-Kalonzo team days after joining opposition

Inclusive National Justice, Economic & Civic Transformation (INJECT) party, led by Morara Kebaso, has expressed disappointment in one of their partners in the opposition team.
Currently, the opposition team is led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, People’s Liberation Party (PLP) party leader Martha Karua, Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka, and Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) party leader Eugene Wamalwa.
Taking to his official X account on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, Morara, in what appears to be a direct hint at a possible exit from the opposition, stated that his party has found it difficult to continue associating itself with leaders who think tribalism, speak tribalism, and plan tribalism, arguing that it is not founded on tribal hate as the basis of political change.
Morara further stated that his party would only work with other leaders and other political parties only if their values are aligned to his.
Morara’s disappointment
Without naming anyone, Morara said that the INJECT party had privately and respectfully conveyed their disappointment with one of their partners in the opposition and was hoping to see some change in the coming days.
“INJECT Party has found it very difficult to continue associating itself with leaders who think tribalism, speak tribalism, and plan tribalism. Our party is not founded on tribal hate as the basis of political change.
“It is our desire to work with other leaders and other political parties if and only if their values are aligned to ours. It’s not enough to say RUTO MUST GO. We must reimagine and create a post-Ruto future. We have privately and respectfully conveyed our disappointment with one of our partners in the opposition. We hope to see some change in the coming days,” Morara stated.
