MP Junet meets Raila’s diehard who ‘warned’ Covid-19

1 min read

Minority leader in the National Assembly Junet Mohammed on Wednesday met George Bodo, a Raila fanatic who had earlier in the year gave a stern ‘warning’ to coronavirus, if it dared ‘touch’ ODM leader Raila Odinga.

“There are people who are saying reggae has stopped, as far as I’m concerned, reggae is still on…and If this thing (COVID-19) can catch Raila Odinga, then this country should be disbanded, and everybody should go home,” Bodo said in March.

Junet, also MP for Suna East and one of the closest allies of Raila Odinga told Mr. Bodo in their meeting, the ODM party’s agenda was a national irreducible minimum for the long-term stability of the country.
