Massive backlash in Linda Katiba as Kenyans tear Dr. Ndii apart over ‘ihii’ remark

There are reports of a massive backlash in the Linda Katiba outfit opposing the BBI. This comes just days after Dr. David Ndii, the outfit’s leader made hateful remarks towards the Luo community. Donors are said to be concerned over Linda Katiba’s ability to protect the fundamental rights of Kenyans when its leader is accused of ethnic profiling.

”Massive backlash on Linda Katiba as Donors stops their funding over their leader’s David Ndii’s ethnic profiling of some communities in Kenya,” Ike Ojuok, an online user posted on Friday morning.

In his defense, Dr Ndi says ethnic moblisation has been used as the bane of Kenyan politics, and can be translated to indicate there was nothing new in his ‘ihii’ remarks towards the Luo people.

”We have acres of academic papers and reports stating ethnic mobilization as the bane of Kenyan politics, but when called as is, you scream profiling a tribe. Odingaism is Kenya’s most toxic ethnic mobilization and it is a LUO issue. I restate, its not foreskins, its Odingaism,” Ndii wrote on Twitter, remarks which were not taken kindly by Kenyans.
