Kituyi coming on board has ANC jittered, Edwin Sifuna

ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna says the current public spat between the ODM Party and Musalia Mudavadi is over the entrance of former UNCTAD boss Mukhisa Kituyi’s in the presidential race, which has left the ANC jilted.

Speaking in Matungu Constituency when he held a meeting with teachers in the constituency on Monday 22nd, Sifuna also dismissed the weekend installation of Musalia Mudavadi to run for presidency by a section of Abaluhya elders.

”Kituyi has come on board and there are jitters within the ANC. They had decided they are going to run on a single platform of the economy. But unfortunately, they have found somebody who is more eloquent, not only in just articulating the nature of economic programs in the country but also elaborating the solution to the problem. That is why they are jilted,” Sifuna said.

The Orange Party SG rubbished Musalia Mudavadi’s claims of being the best candidate to restore the country’s economy, saying he is in a very weak position to advise the country on the economy.

”For them, they only trained their candidate to parrot the word economy. Over elaboration of the problem without giving us solutions. And we know he is in a very weak position to advise us on the economy.

” Everybody knows that he and his KANU friends who were gallivanting here in Matungu are part of the problems because during KANU days, they were the ones messing up the economy.”
