ODM leader Raila Odinga is on a whirlwind tour of the Mt Kenya region and is currently making a series of stopovers in major towns across the region, on his way from Laikipia country where he has been in a three day trip.
However, this afternoon while in Nyeri county’s Karatina area, residents were impatient with speakers at a stop-over in the town, and demanded the ODM leader to embark from his car to address them.

A video which has since gone viral online shows Kieni MP Kanini Kega appealing with the enthusiastic crowd to calm down and let Minority Whip Junet Mohammed address them, but the resurgent crowd attempted to charge rreaching towards Raila Odinga’s windscreen, forcing the ODM leader to pop-off from the sun roof of his car for an address.
