Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will run as the Wiper Presidential candidate, not affiliated with the two major formations of Raila Odinga and William Ruto if he is not picked as Azimio-One Kenya running mate.
This is according to Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo who says they have put in place a strong framework that will see them go all the way to the ballot outside the Azimio and Kenya Kwanza formations.
The Wiper Party, Senator Kilonzo says has already collected 2,000 signatures across 24 counties, as a prerequisite for their leader’s candidature, in line with Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s (IEBC) guidelines.

”We agreed that the signature collection should start immediately and be complete by Thursday; we are looking ahead. We cannot be begging all the time. We are ahead of the game,” Senator Kilonzo Jr told the Standard newspaper.
On Thursday, the Azimio-One Kenya running mate selection panel submitted the names of Martha Karua, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Peter Kenneth to the outfit’s flagbearer Raila Odinga for consideration.
