ODM leader Raila Odinga has asked Turkana residents to join him as he champions the country’s third liberation, which will see Kenyans rise from a poverty-stricken nation to an economically viable, and productive one.
Speaking in Lodwar at the Azimio la Umoja rallying call, the former prime minister said after being liberated from the white man and one-party state, Kenya was staring at an economic revolution next year when he takes over as president next year.
”I was alive when our forefathers fought colonialism and the white man. We then fought against a one-party state to win democracy. The third font of our liberation is economic liberation,” the ODM leader said.
The event which bought together leaders from the county led by Petroleum CS John Munyes and a host of ODM and Jubilee MPs and MCAs from the county saw the former prime minister endorsed as the best option to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta, given his record and experience in public service.
