Kenyans know by now that impeached DP Rigathi Gachagua thinks that he is the president of a country called the Republic of Mount Kenya for Kikuyus and Merus and he wants the M.Ps in the area never to go where President Ruto and other communities are doing anything in Kenya because that means such M.Ps are betraying the Mt. Kenya people.
Gachagua wants the M.Ps from Mt. Kenya area to behave like him and as such just run around yelling only in Mt. Kenya areas and forget about the rest of the country. Very bad and tribalistic politics but that is Rigathi Gachagua for you.
According to news reports, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has lashed out at Members of Parliament from the Mount Kenya region for being ‘blindly’ loyal to his former boss, President William Ruto.
Speaking during a church service at AIPCA Gatumbi Church in Lari Constituency, Kiambu County, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, a visibly agitated Gachagua castigated the MPs for allowing themselves to be misused and for contributing to the suffering of the youth in the region.
According to Gachagua, when President Ruto creates opportunities for youth from his own community, sending them abroad and securing them jobs in government agencies, youth from Mt Kenya are instead paid to engage in violence and chaos.
He expressed deep frustration at the MPs who facilitate this, stating they are the reason the region’s youth remain impoverished and directionless.
“Nyinyi wabunge, huyu Ruto vijana wa jamii yake anawapeleka Australia, wengine jeshi, wengine KRA. Vijana yetu anawapatia pesa mwapatie watupe mawe. Nyinyi ni wajinga kiasi gani, how foolish are you?” Gachagua said.
He went ahead to say that Ruto laughs at Mt Kenya MPs behind their backs after using them for political errands.
According to Gachagua, while youth from Ruto’s region flourish in meaningful opportunities, those from Mt Kenya are reduced to tools of violence by their own elected leaders, who act at the behest of the State House.
Taking aim at the MPs’ failure to stand up for their community, Gachagua warned that history would not be kind to them. He said their names would be remembered not for leadership but for their shameful submission and betrayal of the region’s dignity.
“When the history of this region is written, the MPs from this community will have a whole chapter as the most foolish leaders ever elected in the Mt Kenya region,” he declared.
He further criticised the MPs for blindly supporting every directive from the president without question.
Gachagua said that their loyalty was not to the people who elected them but to power and money, branding them an embarrassment.
“William Ruto akiwaambia kwendeni mpitishe Finance Bill mnaenda, mnapitisha. Akiwaambia ni mbaya, mnasema ‘Yes, Sir’. Akiwaambia endeni mfukuze Deputy President mnaenda mnafukuza. You are an embarrassment to the people of this region,” he added.
Church disruptions
Gachagua also condemned recent incidents where youths paid by politicians disrupted church services. He said that it was shameful for leaders to stoop so low, questioning how anyone with integrity could accept money to defile sacred spaces.

He concluded by warning the MPs that their actions will eventually catch up with them. He said the people of Mt Kenya are watching, and a time will come when they will respond to the betrayal.
Gachagua in Kalonzo Muysoka area in Ukambani was furious with Kamba people supporting anybody who is not Mkamba. How the heck is going to tell Wakambas to vote for a Kikuyu or the other way round. It is dead politics of backward tribalism. That is what the opposition in Kenya is today.

Mavoko residents protesting on June 2, 2025
More than 1,000 residents of Mavoko held protests in Athi River on Monday, expressing displeasure over remarks made by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, which they perceived as interference in Machakos County politics.
Gachagua’s idea of getting other tribes to vote for him and his friends is dead and lets look at his new friend George Natembeya who after being accused of stealing public money meant for his constituents development went ballistic promising the country that he is the real deal for the country and will take votes to the opposition.
So on Madaraka day Natembeya comes face to face with a new reality for him.
Natembeya skips Madaraka Day celebrations in Kitale, sends executive to read protest speech

Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya skipped the Madaraka Day celebrations held in Kitale town, where low turnout forced the county commissioner to address rows of empty seats.
Natembeya was ready to mobilize the whole of Western Kenya to join the opposition but sadly enough for him in his place in Kitale nobody showed up for him to address them and so he sent somebody else to address the chairs and grass which was all there was at the supposed meeting place.
Now if chairs are going to vote in 2027 then these guys have this thing all worked out. The only problem which they have to solve is to give voting cards to the chairs and grass and the opposition politicians will take all political seats including State House. That is not a hard thing to do? Is it?
Now Natembeya may need one of these cars to Tembeya him but he burnt them down at his house. That is fine. It is who he is and Kenyans can see that now.
Over 5 vehicles damaged as locals protest EACC raid at Natembeya home
The vehicles used by the officers were pelted with stones and tyres deflated.

Angry residents damaged several vehicles as a contingent of armed EACC and police officers raided the home of Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya in Milimani, Kitale town.
The vehicles used by the officers were pelted with stones and tyres deflated as hundreds of residents stormed the home to protest against the raid at the home.
The other issue Gachagua raised in his speech is what he called people being attacked in Church and abandoned in bushes.
The latest case of alleged abduction is that of the Juja M.P George Kiomburi who was allegedly abducted after coming from church beaten up and abandoned in roadside coffee farm. Investigations about this case is causing a lot of problems for Gachagua and his claimed abduction of MPs and even him being shot at on several occasions.
The investigation on this particular “abduction” is very problematic for Gachagua. Evidence show from witnesses who have no involvement with Kenya police indicate that M.P George Koimburi left the church and went to a hotel with buddies and they just had a party and spent the night at the hotel.
In the morning the M.P left in a car and was later allegedly dumped in a bush. From all accounts it looks like this M.P had abducted himself using his friends to dump him somewhere. And then of course Gachagua was all over the story.
Now the medical records have been collected because Gachagua claimed that chemicals were used on the M.P. I guess this is to invent the story of just how evil the abductors are.
Rigathi Gachagua, accompanied by other leaders, visited Juja MP George Koimburi at Karen Hospital.
After the visit Gachagua and Kalonzo Musyoka claimed that chemicals was used to disable the M.P. If that is the case it is the easiest thing to prove and Gachagua and his team would have asked for medical tests to prove that the M.P has chemicals in his body. Why not do that unless you know you are making things up.
What happens if it is proved that this M.P was never abducted and this was just self abduction and political theatre by the Wamunyoro boys.
Even those alleged shootings on Gachagua; is that political theatre also. We know Gachagua has warned Kenyans of some war coming to the country if he looses in 2027. Is this part of the plan for that war? Kenyans are not fools and nobody is going drag them into mayhem for their own political agenda.
Abductions is a very serious issue in Kenya today. Patriotic and very brave young Kenyans have been abducted fighting for their country and for basic rights for Kenyans since June 25, 2024 and some have been killed by the Kenya police and government agents.
Any Kenyan politician trying to turn the whole nightmare into a political joke for themselves is doing a great harm to the country. This is not how to win votes. Talk to Kenyans about issues that are important to them and how they can be sorted out. Don’t abduct yourself. Please for the sake of the country.
For people like Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, June 25 revolution by young Kenyans including those who lost their lives is for him to get a Public Holiday named for it. Kalonzo has been in holiday all his life. When did he last work for a living? Kati Kati time? Kenyans have more serious problems to deal with and they are going to handle that because they always do.
Kenyans need to talk about abductions by the government and find solutions now. Raila Odinga in his Madaraka Day Speech in front of President William Ruto in Homa Bay on June 1, yesterday asked the president to compensate victims of abductions and resolve the matter for Kenyan victims of state abductions and killings.
President Ruto himself apologized for the injustices by the state against the Gen Z activists. If as citizens we combine what the president is saying and what Raila Odinga is saying then maybe there is hope our country could be a free place for all its citizens including activists fighting for a better Kenya.
What is wrong with that. It is time to see some action in resolving these human rights problems among other concerns for the country.
That issue should be taken very seriously by President Ruto and for God’ sake don’t abduct more people like the case of Rose Njeri now in police custody for no reason at all.
How Rose Njeri arrest undermines President’s apology to Gen Z

Kenyans have expressed outrage over the detention of a software developer who created a tool to help people oppose the government’s annual finance bill because of fears that it will raise the cost of living.
The most stupid thing about the arrest of Rose Njeri by the Ruto government is that now they have given the empty opposition so called leaders something to talk about because those people have no agenda for the country and nothing to talk about.
I would rather listen to the activists who have been there for the country for a while now. The other damn move by the Ruto regime here is that they are in big trouble because of the June 25, 2024 movement which was about the Finance Bill 2024 which President Ruto was forced to cancel.
Now we are in June 2025 and President Ruto is begging for a similar uprising against Finance Bill 2025. Can this Ruto government ever learn anything?

What happened to public participation as required by the Kenyan constitution on issues like Finance Bill?
My little advise to our brave activists today is to ask them not to let things be about themselves and personal honour.
Fight for the country not your personal prestige. I remember by comrade Titus Adungosi who was the chair of SONU when we were at the university. He used to come and yell at us to get out of the streets when he felt we were going to be shot and killed. It was never about him but about the country.
Adungosi was given a ten year jail sentence and sent to Kamiti Maximum Prison in 1982 and he died there after six years and when you die in prison they do not even send your body home. You are buried in a secret plot in Kamiti. Kenya always needs and benefits a lot from those kinds of activists. SONU’s first chairman.
SONU’s first chairman

There is no doubt that the then Students Organization of Nairobi University (SONU) currently known as the University of Nairobi Students Association (UNSA) was the most powerful students’ union in the country.
Then we had Karanja from Nakuru who was at Nyayo House Torture chambers the same time I was there. The crazy thing at Nyayo House was being put in the swimming pool which was a little room with frozen water up to to your knees.
You can last a few days standing but you are going to crash into the water, head first. After five days there you are half dead and they have to get you out. They kept Karanja there for more than five days and then took him to Kenyatta Hospital where they handcuffed him on his hospital bed and he could barely talk or breath. He died there in a few days. Karanja was a safari rally driver from Nakuru at that time.
I was in that water torture pool for five days and when they got me out and put me in a dry room they could see I was just finished. You don’t eat anything when you are in the swimming pool. They gave me food when I was out and I was looking at it and dying to eat the food but I had no clue how to eat.
My hands were dead and so was my mind. They have to stuff that food in your mouth and then you eat and fall on the floor in one minute. After that you are going to jail because we were taken to court and always just pleaded guilty because you never want to go back to that swimming pool at the torture centre. Next was Kamiti and that is where we went.
Last week, during the national prayer day, the spotlight fell on President William Ruto’s apology to Gen Z, a gesture some hailed as the dawn of a new era.
While many Kenyans welcomed the apology as a positive step forward, others dismissed it as mere rhetoric, insisting it must be backed by meaningful action.
On the side let us not mince words. Rigathi Gachagua is an expert in killing civilian Kenyans for political reasons. In 1992 while Gachagua was the D.O for Molo and Kenya had its first multi party election the residents of Molo who were Kikuyus did not vote for Moi and then D.O Gachagua was given the go ahead to deal with that and get rid of them.
Rigathi Gachagua killed more than 5,000 Kikuyus because they did not vote for Moi. The D.O and the army had 75,000 Kikuyus expelled from Molo back to Central Province. And this is the man who wants to be the King of the Kikuyus now. Just nonsense.
Here are the details of murders committed by Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua as Moi’s D.O in Molo.
It was 5,000 people killed by Gachagua and his team of murderers. Now Gachagua wants to save Kikuyus but when he was slaughtering Kikuyus for Moi he was doing a great job and was promoted right away by Moi.
