Deputy President William Ruto and Migori Governor Okoth Obado have devised an elaborate strategy to ensure the ODM party is locked out of Luo Nyanza in the 2022 general elections. Latest reports indicate the DP wants Governor Obado’s PDP to be a part of his United Democratic Alliance (UDA) whose flag he will use to run for the top seat next year August.

On Sunday, Governor Obado was hosted by David Ruto, a younger brother to the DP at his Kileleshwa home in Nairobi, where the two discussed the modalities of working together to ensure Raila’s ODM does not win a majority of seats in the vote rich Nyanza region.

According to reports, Governor Obado has also been trying to woo Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya to be a part of PDP, an assignment that has proven very hard to accomplish.

Those who attended the Sunday meeting between David Ruto and Governor Obado disclose a similar event has been organised for Migori later this month, ahead of DP William Ruto’s Nyanza tour next month.

”It’s true we met and as politicians, we discussed a number of issues whose details will come to light in due course,” Obado told a local publication on.

  1. Obado looks to be concerned about his position after 2022.Let him play his cards cautiously knowing very well that he shouldn’t think Migori is the entire Luo community. The DP Ruto ”s plan to oust Agwambo in Nyanza is abig nightmare, however being a man let him face this wilderness very bravely.
