Sifuna to Ruto: Talk to Raila if you want me fired as NADCO supervisor
Edwin Sifuna now wants those removing him from political posts to speak to Raila Odinga and he will tell them not to touch Sifuna. It seems Sifuna is daily talking to Raila and has been assured by him that the old soldier will rise up and make sure Sifuna is running the country with his help from Kang’o Ka Jaramogi.
In media reports, embattled Edwin Sifuna has told President William Ruto to seek the intervention of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga if he wants him removed as supervisor of the implementation of the National Dialogue Committee report.
Sifuna said he was the official appointed to oversee the implementation of the memorandum arising from the bipartisan talks and insisted that only Raila, whom he described as his boss, could remove him from the role.
Speaking on Wednesday, Sifuna maintained that he remains the person mandated to supervise the implementation process.
“I want to make it very clear that I am the supervisor the President was referring to yesterday regarding the implementation of the MOU. I drafted that document myself, so I know it very well. In fact, I am the one who took it to him, and he did not read it,” Sifuna said.
“Therefore, I am the one responsible for supervising the implementation of that MOU. I was appointed supervisor by my boss. If anyone wants me removed as supervisor, they should speak to him, he is in Bondo.”

The real story here is that ODM has nothing to do with Edwin Sifuna and his squad right now and they can do whatever they think is good for their party. It is okay to hag Raila Odinga all around even in his grave, but he is not coming back to give anybody any jobs or political seats and that is now up to those individuals who have every right to choose their own political directions as they wish.
It is this idea of sitting on two chairs at the same time which is causing these guys some problems because one chair is sliding that way and the other chair is not even stable which means you are going to find your political ass down on the floor and you will have to pull yourself up and figure out which way to go.

Within this group, James Orengo wants to run for the presidency as he told residents in Siaya the other day. His problem is which party to sponsor him to take State House. How about Linda Mwananchi as a political party to sponsor candidates for any seats.
Strangely the same people shouting about how their politics and their new movement is so popular with Kenyans do not want to turn that heavy duty movement into a political party. What are they afraid of or do they know that they are more of a hot air balloon than an emerging political heavy weight.
In also a political killer strategy for this Linda Mwananchi group that they are trying to find out how to attack one of the best steps taken by the President Ruto and Dr. Oburu Oginga coalition team which was to offer real solution in providing compensation for victims of state violence covering the period from 2017 to 2024.
Linda Mwananchi questions Sh2 billion allocation for victims of police brutality
In media reports, the Linda Mwananchi faction has rejected the Sh2 billion planned payout to victims of police brutality while questioning the criteria used to arrive at the figure.
The team that is led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna wondered which formula was used to determine the figure as sufficient, and how each victim will be paid, yet the Victims Compensation Fund has not been activated.
Suba South MP Caroli Omondi said the kitty is questionable, wondering how a life lost will be quantified, or those injured will be valued.
“Who knows how they arrived at Sh2 billion for the compensation of protest victims? Who knows the total number of the victims? What’s about justice & accountability for the rogue police officers who killed or killed innocent protesters?” Omondi posed.
It is despicable that politicians fighting for dear life to continue their political careers are trying to sabotage the compensation plan for victims of state violence without even bothering to talk to those victims. This group of political hunters are trying to turn those victims of state violence hoping for compensation into mere political toys for them to play their games.
They are going to be surprised when the victims decide to speak for themselves and look for real solutions not political games to help some political careers.
Kenyans who want the compensation plan to succeed for the sake of the victims know that the serious way to handle this issue now is to deal with KNCHR a well-known human rights organization in the country which has been given the responsibility to undertake the whole process and figure out how to make sure all the victims are brought in for the compensation and the process is made fair so that an independent body determines the amount to be paid to each victim depending on their particular circumstances.
Shouting for media attention by desperate politicians wanting to pretend they represent the victims of state violence does not help any victim and they are going to let these noise makers know that in no uncertain terms.

When these young Kenyans were in the streets fighting for their country to get better did anybody see any of these new ODM rebel crybabies in those rallies?
What gives the Linda Mwananchi political opportunists the right to speak for the victims of state violence in Kenya which occurred while they were all lying safely in their big houses as MPs paid by Kenyan taxpayers.

Here are victims of state violence holding a rally at Uhuru Park on February 11, 2026, asking for compensation now.
If the compensation process gets real and going the victims are going to speak for themselves about what is working and what needs to be done better. That is going to be a good time for our country to handle the whole issue properly and be fair to all the victims of state violence.
