Raila Odinga Junior on Friday joined ODM luminaries in Kataboi, Turkana North, as the party took its Mwezi wa Baba campaign showcasing its national appeal as he steps up his involvement in party affairs.
Junior joined ODM leaders Gladys Wanga, Simba Arati, Junet Mohamed and Catherine Omanyo, alongside the Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi and several MPs, governors and senators, during ODM’s grand entry into Turkana County.
His appearance comes as he increasingly takes part in ODM activities after declaring his intention to contest the Kibra parliamentary seat, placing him at the intersection of his father’s political legacy and the party’s future leadership.
The Turkana event offered ODM an opportunity to demonstrate its nationwide reach.
As ODM seeks to sustain Raila Odinga’s legacy nationally, Junior’s growing visibility and Kibra ambitions are likely to attract closer attention from party supporters and political pundits.
