How Many Politicians Does Gachagua Want To Destroy Before he goes back to Wamunyoro?

Rigathi Gachagua is becoming like a piece of stinky mud that nobody wants to touch their clothes, or it will make everybody else flee from them.

Predictably Gachagua now claims that Ruto wants to buy ODM and is now ready to throw money at ODM party leaders like Edwin Sifuna to join him in a DCP outfit that is now scary to all Kenyans because of Gachagua’s naked tribalism. Sifuna is actually senior to Gachagua in national politics, but the big mouth is up to his own things.

Gachagua already put Kalonzo Musyoka in a lot of trouble when he claimed that he made a deal with Kalonzo to surrender all Nairobi County seats to his party so he can pick people from his tribe to grab those seats.

Now Gachagua is extending his net by offering to buy ODM politicians and they all know that once they jump into Gachagua’s sinking ship they are politically dead because that guy is just too toxic for the country. For now, at least, Gachagua is trying to cover up for Kalonzo by denying what he himself said just the other day. The man thinks Kenyans are too stupid to remember what they heard him saying the day before.

“Let nobody make me feel like I am committing any political crime by marketing my party. That is my job,” Gachagua said as he tries to open a train wreck for Kenyan politicians to join in the ride.

Gachagua denies pushing for tribal leadership in DCP-Wiper pact in Nairobi county

“Don’t twist narratives, saying ‘Riggy G wants the whole of Nairobi to go to Kikuyus’. That is unfair, be truthful and professional,” Gachagua said.

NAIROBI, Kenya Dec 3-Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua has rejected claims that he wants key Nairobi leadership positions reserved for the Kikuyu community, insisting his remarks were misreported.

“Don’t twist narratives, saying ‘Riggy G wants the whole of Nairobi to go to Kikuyus’. That is unfair, be truthful and professional,” Gachagua said.

“We will mix all Kenyans so that we reflect the face of the nation,” he said.

Already engulfed in his tribalistic problems by forcing Kalonzo Musyoka to hand him Nairobi Governor, Senate and Women Representative as well as 70% of MCA seats in Nairobi Rigathi Gachagua now wants to drag some ODM politicians into his messy soup which is already stinking and threatening to choke him and the country.

“Ruto is killing ODM. My advice to ODM is that you will lose every seat in Nairobi if you keep following Ruto; he only has 24,000 votes in a corner here in Lang’ata in Nairobi. Where else will they get their seats from while clinging to Ruto?” he stated.

So the great tribal mathematician has counted that there are 24,000 Kalenjins in Nairobi and that is William Ruto’s vote. Gachagua must be giving the breakdown on Nairobi population by tribe, and he wonders why he is scaring the hell out of politicians looking for new groups to join. Maybe William Ruto knew something no other Kenyan knew and that is the fact that throwing Rigathi Gachagua to the opposition would destroy everybody there because Gachagua will swallow the whole thing and just shit on it until 2027.

Gachagua opens doors for Babu Owino and Sifuna to join DCP

Gachagua opens doors for Babu Owino and Sifuna to join DCP

In the media reports today, Democracy For Citizens Party supremo Rigathi Gachagua has opened the doors for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) pair of Edwin Sifuna and Babu Owino to join the party.

Gachagua extended the invitation to the pair as he presided over a by-election victory celebration of the DCP party in Narok on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

“I have heard that Ruto wants to kick out Sifuna when he buys the ODM party. I want to tell Sifuna, You’re a good leader if Ruto kicks you out; you are welcome to DCP,” he said.

Gachagua stated that he had no qualms welcoming the firebrand Nairobi senator, who has been under constant criticism from a section of ODM officials, like Kasmuel McOure and Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai.

Olive branch to Babu

“He is a great senator, and I have no problem with DCP supporting him to be the senator in Nairobi,” he stated amid cheers from the crowd.

“Ruto has also threatened to chase Babu. He is also welcome to DCP. Come home; this is your home. DCP is a party for all Kenyan patriots, and great leaders like them will get space here.

“If they feel uncomfortable in DCP, they can also join Wiper,” he added.

Gachagua stated that it has been in Ruto’s plan to finish the outfit, as he alerted its members of the cunning ploy.

“Ruto has destroyed ODM, and we are very saddened. He told me that he would finish ODM while I was serving as his deputy,” he added.

Nairobi businesswomen raise concerns over Gachagua remarks on city politics

In Nairobi people running their businesses and making a living in the city are already nervous that the Gachagua line of politics is going to bring tribal warfare in Nairobi which will destroy peoples’ source of living in a city where are tribal groups live together in harmony and the last thing they need are tribal walls being built in their market places and homes where they live.

In media reports, businesswomen in Nairobi have criticized remarks by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, in which he suggested that his Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) intends to establish Nairobi as its political base.

The traders, drawn from various city markets, said the comments risk undermining Nairobi’s long-standing culture of inclusivity.

Addressing a press conference, the women said the remarks made during a Thanksgiving ceremony at PCEA Kariobangi North on November 30, 2025, may have been interpreted by some as implying that elective positions in the capital should predominantly be held by members of their community.

They argued that such perceptions could affect political coexistence as well as day-to-day business interactions that depend on a diverse clientele.

Esther Gathoni, a trader at Wakulima Market, said the remarks had raised concerns among business owners.

“We are businesswomen, and we need all communities for our businesses to thrive. I want everyone to purchase my onions. I cannot sell only to people from one community,” she said.

She added that every Kenyan should be able to seek elective office in Nairobi without restrictions based on ethnicity or party affiliations.

“If people prefer a candidate from a particular region, that is their democratic choice. But let us not say seats are reserved for particular people or parties,” she said.

During the Kariobangi North event, Gachagua said DCP sought to strengthen its presence in Nairobi ahead of the 2027 General Election.

He told supporters the party, working with the Wiper Party led by Kalonzo Musyoka, plans to field candidates in 16 of Nairobi’s 17 constituencies, seek a majority in the county assembly, and contest all top county positions.

Businesswomen urged leaders to avoid statements that could be interpreted as promoting political zoning. Elizabeth Waithera, a trader at Gikomba Market, said Nairobi’s economy depends on open markets that serve people from all communities.

“I sell to everybody who comes here, not just people from my region. If I only served one group, I would close shop very fast,” she said.

Another trader, Joyce Muthoni, called on leaders to emphasize unity.

“He should clarify the remarks and help promote inclusivity, because Nairobi depends on cooperation among all its communities,” she said.

Margaret Njure, also a trader, cautioned that similar rhetoric in other regions could create unnecessary tensions. “We must be accommodating to everybody,” she said.

And now Bonny is waiting for a call from Gachagua which could end his long career in politics. Poor guy, did he ask for it or are the DCP boys running the show just desperate after being hammered in the by-elections?

Malala invites Khalwale to join DCP after ouster from Senate leadership

Democracy for Citizens (DCP) Deputy Party Leader Cleophas Malala has invited Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale to join the DCP party after his ouster from the Senate Majority Whip position.

He further instructed Nyandarua Senator John Methu to help the party in convincing Khalwale to join the political outfit, vowing to hold Khalwale’s hand should he accept the offer to join the DCP party.

“Tunatuma John Methu aende ambie ndugu yangu Khalwale vile wamemtupa huko UDA, akuje kwa chama cha DCP. Tunamkaribisha sana, na nitamshika mkono kama ndugu yangu wa nyumbani.”
