ORPP: Three New Political Parties Have Applied For Registration Ahead Of 2027

 The Office Registrar of Political Parties has confirmed that three new political parties have applied to be added to the list of parties in Kenya.

In a gazette notice published on Friday, January 3, Registrar Anne Nderitu announced that the three parties submitted provisional requests to get the go-ahead to use the party names, symbols, and colours.

The three parties are the Forum for Economic Development Agenda (FEDA), the Kenya United Generation Party (KUG), and the Future Party (TFP).

FEDA has applied to be allowed to use Yale blue, gold, and Red colours as their party colours, while KUG has applied for green, brown, and blue colours.

On the other hand, TFP has applied to be allowed to use the luminous green, white, and navy blue colours.

Tinga Stephen Lekuka, Wambui Lucy Wanjiru, Keloi William Saningo, Ndegwa Christine Kirigo, Koskei Benard Kiprono, and Risper Awuor have been listed as the founding members of the Forum for Economic Development Agenda (FEDA) party.
