Azimio Executive Director Raphael Tuju skipped today’s Cabinet meeting chaired by President William Ruto at State House this morning despite being attended by all the cabinet secretaries who served in President Kenyatta’s administration.

Also present were Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Attorney General Kihara Kariuki, and Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.

Raphael Tuju, also the Azimio Coalition Executive Director is among CSs who openly campaigned for Raila Odinga and firmly stood with former President Kenyatta.

Others were Keriako Tobiko (Environment), Mutahi Kagwe (Health), Peter Munya (Agriculture), Joe Mucheru (IT), Fred Matiangi (Interior), and Eugene Wamalwa (Defense).

Today’s meeting comes a day after the President Ruto presided over the distribution of relief food to the mostly hit counties by drought, which was attended by a few CSs at the same venue.
